Farm #3

The father in this family has a strong organic background with his schooling in agriculture with diploma back in Switzerland where he lived until 1992 when he moved to Prince George with his family of 3 children who are now in their twenties. They have 10 years dairy mixed farming ,10 years natural beef,5 years beef and veggies, and 8 years veggies only, but always organic only. They encourage more other farmers to do the same, because more food should be produced locally., This 20 acre farm is located 35 km north-east of Prince George at Salmon Valley along the Fraser River, a nice community. It has one of the most fertile soil around Prince George. Prince George is close by with lost of activities in the summer time. ìWe like to enjoy a homecooked meal and like to talk. We would like to pass on our longtime experience to other qualified people, because we need farmers for the future.î
