Write below a 100 to 150 word summary of your farm and the apprenticeship your offer (we suggest you take a look at other farm descriptions on the website first). If we need to edit your farm description substantially, we will send it to you for approval before putting it up.
Please make sure to include:

  • something about the location and its amenities such as a nearby lake or opportunities for biking, skiing, hiking, etc.
  • something about the farmers themselves, years farming, degrees in agriculture or teaching experience, special interests
  • the farm: size, special features, history, buildings, etc.
  • the work to be done and skills to be learned
  • accommodation and cooking situation
  • stipend
  • a better sense of where the farm is located. ie. 100 miles north of Halifax, etc.
